Wesley and Brooke were introduced in August before their junior year at the University of Oklahoma through Brooke’s roommates, who were college friends with Wesley and his friends. Before they were officially dating, Brooke invited Wesley to her sorority formal just one day after their first date in January 2022 at Marble Slab in Oklahoma City. They began dating in March 2022, said “I love you” in April, and continued to build their relationship from there.

OU game days, formals, and plenty of fun nights in Norman filled the first two years of their relationship. After graduating in 2023, Brooke moved to Fort Worth to pursue her career, while Wesley moved back to Dallas. Two years of “medium distance” didn’t change much. Through busy workweeks and weekends together, their relationship continued to grow, eventually bringing Brooke back to Dallas to be closer to friends, family, and Wesley.

Now over four years together and many new adventures later, including navigating adulthood and adopting their firstborn son (their cat), Socks, Brooke and Wesley found themselves ready to start the rest of their lives together. In January 2026, Wesley proposed in Sonoma, California, marking the beginning of their next chapter.

Now, they’re looking forward to this next chapter and cannot wait to celebrate it with those who mean the most to them.
